Anna Chmielarz examines the search for a new artistic language and surrealist techniques, Agnieszka Kuczyńska focuses on surrealist books in Poland through works by Zbigniew Makowski and Erna Rosenstein, and Zofia Machnicka discusses the international Phases movement in the context of 1950s–1960s Polish art. The catalogue includes nearly 130 reproductions showcasing techniques like photography, decalcomania, collages, and assemblages.
