"New Plays for Children and Youth" is a publishing series dedicated to presenting dramatic works by Polish and international authors. The Polish texts primarily originate from the competition for theatre plays for children and youth, as well as the accompanying writing program. The idea of publishing an anthology of contemporary plays emerged in 1992, following the third edition of the competition. It remains the only Polish publishing house consistently releasing modern dramas for young readers. From its inception until the 49th issue, the series was edited by Zbigniew Rudziński. Typically, one or two issues are published each year.
