You're right! Here's the revised version: The exhibition "Glass Biographies. Polish Female Glass Designers (1945–2020)" and the accompanying catalogue are a natural continuation of the research and ambitious museum project by Dr. Barbara Banaś. She has consistently filled in the gaps in the history of post-war Polish glass design. Her previous work has explored, among others, New Look, the work of Ludwik Kiczura, Zbigniew Horbowy, Zygmunt Buksowicz and his Katowice "Steatyt," as well as the achievements of Jerzy Słuczan-Orkusz, Eryka Trzewik-Drost, and Jan Sylwester Drost. Once again, her attention is focused on the most important personalities of Polish design in the second half of the 20th century and the early 21st century. This time, she highlights "szklarki," often overlooked and forgotten figures in the history of Polish art. Though the book selectively covers their contributions, it restores the memory and knowledge of many excellent personalities and timeless designs that became visual hallmarks of their era.
