The album celebrates the White & Case corporate collection, a pioneering initiative centered on Warsaw and contemporary photography. Established in the 1990s, the collection bridges cartography and photography, capturing Warsaw’s landscapes, architecture, and daily life through hundreds of works, from classic prints to photomontages and lightboxes. Photos and silver-ink map engravings create a layered narrative of the city, with foldable pages revealing hidden images. Curatorial texts, a catalog of works, and a map of their placement in White & Case’s Warsaw office complete the book. The cover features a lenticular-printed piece by Witek Orski, animating the Warsaw mermaid in two stages. Artist names are elegantly stamped in silver foil on the back.
