Photography and poster design project for Tauron Nowa Muzyka 2011 exhibition in the main festival area. Among others the inspiration for the projects was the relationship between an idol and the audience.“Stars spend most of their lives in the main sequence. The bigger the star the shorter the period it spends in the main sequence. Hence, the major stars burn out quicker than the minor ones”. This constitute a tragic analogy to superheroes of the stage: the idols. The metaphoric sight of a cult for an individual, whom we know nothing about but whom we all know, worship and love. Isn’t this praise only concentrated on the stage costume, falsely created package solely for attracting our attention? How much effort does it take to create a suoerhero, a half god? It seems we all need them, thus, with excitement, we continue to watch them burn out and emerge anew.
Projekt serii fotografii i plakatów przygotowany na wystawę Tauron Nowa Muzyka 2011. Inspiracje – “Gwiazdy spędzają większą część swojego życia w swojej głównej fazie. Im większa gwiazda, tym krótszy okres spędza w głównej fazie. Dlatego to największe gwiazdy wypalają się szybciej niż te mniejsze”. To jest tragiczne analogia do superbohaterów na scenie: idolów. Metaforyczna perspektywa kultu jednostki, o której nic nie wiemy, ale którą wszyscy znają, czczą ją i kochają. Czy nie jest to pochwała skoncentrowana tylko na kostiumie – fałszywie stworzonym opakowaniu, które przykuwa naszą uwagę? Jak wiele pracy i wysiłku zajmuje stworzenie superbohatera, pół-boga? Wydaje się, że wszystkim są oni potrzebni, więc w podnieceniu i spokoju oglądamy się wypalają i powstają na nowo.
