In Kornel Janczewski’s art book Planeta/The Planet, maps of non-existent countries and natural phenomena become a pretext to present the universal principles governing our planet. The book presents us with a romantic, painterly, post-conceptual expedition composed of examining geopolitical dependencies, exploring the cosmos, or tracking the absurdities of Polish transformation-era architecture. These themes are the topics of essays by authors who were inspired by the work of Kornel Janczy. The publication consists of nineteen texts and an introductory study by Stach Szabłowski. The form of the book refers to a geographical atlas.
W artbooku Kornela Janczego „Planeta / The Planet” mapy nieistniejących państw i zjawiska przyrodnicze stały się pretekstem do ukazania uniwersalnych zasad rządzących Planetą. Romantyczna, malarska, postkonceptualna wyprawa, zabawa w badanie zależności geopolitycznych, spoglądanie w kosmos czy tropienie absurdów architektury czasu transformacji to tematy esejów zainspirowanych pracami Kornela Janczego. Publikacja składa się z dziewiętnastu tekstów oraz opracowania wprowadzającego autorstwa Stacha Szabłowskiego. Forma książki nawiązuje do atlasu geograficznego.
