The Report involves a range of data visualizations, depicting diverse aspects of the comapany’s activity in 2016. The “Network” determines the subject matter of the infographics and the structure of the publication. Its construction resembles hypertext – the first visualization presents topics to which links can be found on subsequent pages. Each of the visualisations is a result of multistage processing of data, mainly through spreadsheets, network and image analysis software, coding and graphic design. All visualisations have their source in statistical data, but at the same time can function without their informative context.
Raport obejmuje szereg wizualizacji danych, przedstawiających różne obszary działalności Grupy w 2016 r. „Sieć” określa zarówno ich tematykę, jak i strukturę publikacji. Jej konstrukcja przypomina hipertekst – pierwsza wizualizacja przedstawia tematy, do których linki znajdziemy na kolejnych stronach. Każda wizualizacja jest efektem wieloetapowego przetwarzania danych m.in. za pomocą arkuszy kalkulacyjnych, oprogramowania do analizy sieci i obrazu, kodowania, projektowania graficznego. Powstałe obrazy mają źródło w konkretnych danych statystycznych, a jednocześnie mogą funkcjonować jako autonomiczne formy.
