Festival programme book for the ninth edition of “Bliscy Nieznajomi” [“Close Strangers”] Theatre Meetings Festival. The theme for the 2016 edition was based on provocative reinterpretations of the Naród Sobie [“The Nation to Itself”] slogan which appears on the facade of the Polish Theatre in Poznań to indicate that the institution was socially founded. New interpretations included “the community to itself,” “women to themselves,” “local communities to themselves,” and “the theatre to itself.”
Program IX edycji festiwalu Spotkania Teatralne „Bliscy Nieznajomi”, która prowokuje do kolejnych parafraz hasła „naród sobie”, „wspólnota sobie”, „kobiety sobie”, „lokalne społeczności sobie”, „teatr sobie”. To próba niedogmatycznego, krytycznego odczytania drugiego członu hasła Naród Sobie na gmachu Teatru Polskiego w Poznaniu.
