Catalogue for the “Body” exhibition which took place as part of the “Man of the Anthropocene” – a project by the EIT+ Research Centre in Wrocław. The exhibition explored how the human body might look like in the future, and the ways in which it might be modified. The theoretical premises of the overarching project determined a perspective oriented on future studies and future management. Participants also explored supporting notions such as growth, development, the dynamics of globalization and a new world order which is undergoing major modifications due to technological progress. These notions, complemented by perspectives on human activity, constitute a geosystem of inter-dependent generations, cultures and religions.
Katalog do wystawy „Body”, która odbyła się w ramach projektu „Człowiek Antropocenu”, zrealizowanego przez Wrocławskie Centrum Badań EIT+. Wystawa poruszała temat wyglądu ciała ludzkiego w przyszłości i jego ewentualnych modyfikacji. Ramy merytoryczne całego projektu lokowały się w futurystyce i problematyce zarządzania przyszłością. Ich rozwinięciem były pojęcia takie jak postęp, wzrost, rozwój, dynamika globalizacji oraz nowy ład światowy, który poprzez rozwój technologii ulega znaczącym modyfikacjom. Te pojęcia uzupełnione jest spojrzeniem przez pryzmat ludzkiej aktywności, która tworzy z nimi swoisty geosystem funkcjonujących pokoleń, kultur i religii.
