The Progress of Works is an exhibition prepared by the students of the Graphic Design Department within the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Wrocław Fine Arts Academy. The showcase will be created under professional guidance of Łukasz Paluch (AnoMalia Studio) in collaboration with Joanna Jopkiewicz (Grupa Projektor). It will include a set of works created by their former students and specifically tailored to suit the purpose of the exhibition.
The exhibition consists of the works created by the students from previous years, but it also represents a platform which shows the whole process of teaching and mentoring as well as the vision that is consistently implemented by Paluch and Jopkiewicz. We will exhibit the works created by our former students, including graduate diplomas. The key factor, however, is that we entrust this year’s students with the selection of works. They will have to arrange them on their own in order to complete the classes – says Joanna Jopkiewicz. We want to emphasize the process of learning and responsibility that’s connected with the profession of designer. We offer our students the opportunity to demonstrate their creativity, but it is also obviously a big challenge for them. They will have to independently determine the shape of the exhibition – she adds.
Wystawa Postęp prac to wystawa przygotowana przez studentów Pracowni Identyfikacji Wizualnej w Katedrze Projektowania Graficznego ASP Wrocław, prowadzonej przez Łukasza Palucha (AnoMalia Studio) we współpracy z Joanną Jopkiewicz (grupa Projektor). Zobaczymy na niej studenckie prace powstałe w ramach zajęć, zredagowane specjalnie na potrzebę wystawy.
Wystawa prezentuje prace adeptów pracowni z poprzednich lat, ale nie tylko – to również platforma ukazująca proces dydaktyczny i wizję, która jest konsekwentnie realizowana przez Palucha i Jopkiewicz. Na wystawie pokażemy zredagowane prace studentów z kilku ostatnich lat, w tym dyplomy absolwentów. Kluczowe jest jednak to, że selekcję prac powierzyliśmy tegorocznym studentom. To oni samodzielnie zaaranżują je w ramach zajęć – mówi Joanna Jopkiewicz. Chcemy w ten sposób położyć nacisk na proces kształcenia i odpowiedzialność, która wiąże się z zawodem projektanta. Dajemy studentom okazję do wykazania się kreatywnością, ale też stawiamy przed nimi duże wyzwanie. To oni zadecydują o kształcie wystawy – dodaje.
