Design for the Subjetive Map of Toruń City. Over several months Toruń was watched through the eyes of artists invited for short residential stays, and the eyes of the youngest inhabitants of the city. This book brings together their visions and findings. The city was rediscovered through walks, documents, mapping, describing, processing, fixing and other creative methods.
This book encourages people to get to know the city in an alternative way and to discover it for themselves. This is a large scale enterprise that attempts to take culture off the beaten track and away from the most common associations made with Toruń. With this in mind, the key terms do not include gothic, gingerbread and Copernicus. They do, however, include terms from the fields of the anthropology and sociology of the city as well as operating in the public space.

Projekt przewodnika Subiektywna Mapa Torunia. Miatso Toruń było obserwowane przez kilka miesięcy przez artystów zaproszonych na krótkie rezydencje i najmłodszych mieszkańców miasta. W tej książce spotykają się ich wizje i odkrycia. Poprzez spacerowanie, dokumentacje, mapowanie, opisywanie, przetwarzanie, naprawianie i inne twórcze metody pracy odkrywamy miasto na nowo. Niniejsza książka zachęca do alternatywnego poznawania miasta i indywidualnych poszukiwań. Przedsięwzięcie jest szeroko zakrojoną próbą wyjścia poza utarty schemat pewnych automatycznych skojarzeń związanych z Toruniem; w związku z powyższym pośród kluczowych pojęć nie znajdziemy zestawu gotyk-piernik-Kopernik. Pojawiają się natomiast pojęcia z zakresu antropologii, socjologii, miasta oraz działania w przestrzeni publicznej.
