Janek Duzdik BA degree project at London College of Communication, Design for Graphic Communication course.
His idea was to document young professionals of the emerging music scene in London. He focused on music producers, dj’s and club night promoters. To avoid cliches he has visited all the participants at their houses to show their more personal side. Not the one we all know, at the dj booth, on Photoshop retouched images. To add an even more specific, ‘personal’ look and a grainy feel to the project he took all the pictures using the analogue Nikon FM2 camera. The outcome of his work is a set of seven booklets printed in full colour on uncoated paper. Each booklet focuses on one artist. At the end of each booklet the viewer will find a QR code which can be read by most mobile phones. Taking a picture of the specific code sends the viewer to the artist’s Myspace website.
All books are placed in a custom made cardboard box with a foil blocked logotype on the top.

Projekt dyplomowy na London College of Communication na wydziale projektowania graficznego, dokumentujący przedstawicieli młodej sceny muzycznej w Londynie. Aby uniknąć powielania stereotypowego wizerunku, producenci muzyczni, dj’e i kreatorzy nocnych klubów zostali przedstawieni w w swoich domach i kameralnych sytuacjach.
Wszystkie książeczki zostały umieszczone w customowym pudełku z hostampingiem.
